5th Annual Open Space Day: English-Speaking Mental Health Professionals

• Do you sometimes wish you had other professionals to talk about clinical issues?
• Are you wondering how to navigate the Swiss health system and setting up a private practice?
• Are you feeling cut off from new developments in your language?
• Would you like to sample a new idea or technique in a supportive informal environment?
• Would you like to explore and develop a project with other professionals who share similar passions?
• Or do you just want to meet and get to know other English-speaking health and mental health professionals living in Switzerland?

If you answered yes to any of these questions … come join us at the C2 Open Space Day setting!

We at C2, are excited to invite you to the 5th Annual Open Space Day in Biel/Bienne!

Different English-Speaking Professionals from all over Switzerland come together and share their ideas, knowledge, questions and experiences. Each year we see new and familiar faces. Throughout the day, there will be many ways to to connect, share and learn – during structured activities such as, workshops and groups, as well as during informal times, such as the breaks, lunch and end of the day Apero.

The Workshop Schedule will be finalized closer to the date, and depending on wishes communicated by participants. Examples of workshops being offered during the Open Space Day include:

• Starting a private practice in Switzerland
• Working with neruodiversity
• Virtual Programs for Clients and Professionals
• Exercises or frameworks useful for working with trauma
• Balancing self-care, professional development, and work
• Case consultation for difficult clinical situations
• Exploring the difficult side of being a therapist
• Opportunities for more interdisciplinary interventions and services

The last workshop of the day will be a presentation and discussion about the legal and ethical issues we need to know as mental health professionals working in Switzerland. You can register for this event separately (a separate Fee of 60 CHF) or as part of the whole Open Space Day (Fee 180 CHF). The presentation will be from 16:00 – 18:00.

As we’ve grown, we are excited to be at a new location, the beautiful NMB (Neu Museum Biel). Seevorstadt 56, 2502 Biel. From the train station, it is a short 12 min walk or 5 min Bus Ride away. There is also garage parking around the corner from the museum.
