Virtual Grief Circle April
April 6 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
CHF15,00Event Navigation
Would you like a space where you can talk about and share with others about the topics grief and loss? Considering the many kinds of loss and many layers of grief, navigating grieving can be a complex and isolating process. If you are looking for a supportive environment where you can find your own voice and own way through grief, you can join us.
There are three needs of the griever:
to find the words for the loss,
to say the words out loud and
to know that the words have been heard.
– Victoria Alexander
This is an open monthly group for any one who can speak English. It is a place for collective sharing about your experience with grief or loss. It will be moderated by a psychologist but is a space for sharing a memory, a story or support.
You can also check out our blog post, podcast, and resources about loss and grieving.
So Slowly
I don’t know how refusal
melts away like ice in the sun,
how resistance evaporates
like a puddle, or perhaps,
let’s be honest, like a sea.
I only know that since I stopped
fighting you, grief,
there is peace in me,
even when I am weeping,
even when everything I am
feels bruised with loss,
even when I burn.
I only know since I stopped
swimming against the undertow,
I have been carried
to the most astonishing places
and I did not die.
I was given new life.
It is the only
way I can live.
