Making Friends with Your Mind: a 6-Week Course, Class 3

Do you often feel overwhelmed? Do you want to feel more control over your life? Do you want to increase your level of happiness and reduce stress?
We have good news for you! One regular practice can help – meditation! Thousands of studies have shown the positive impact that meditating has on our health and well-being.
Meditation has nothing to do with religion. It is a skill-set, that could be learned.
Meditation can help you with
- coping with anxiety
- reducing stress level
- learning to relax your body
- coping with pain
- building a mindful relationship with yourself and others
- addressing burnout
If you are struggling with any of these problems, come to “Making friends with your mind “ – a 6-week meditation course for beginners.
Course would be lead by Jaya Lisa Saunders, who has over 30 years of experience in meditation, coaching, and bodywork. She will guide based on her own experience with Mindfulness, Vipassana and TM meditation techniques. So you can try different meditational options. We will meet once per week for 2 hours and will explore the notion of taking time out to relate to ourselves.
The course will be held Tuesday evenings (18-20.00) from 11 October 2022 – 15 November 2022.
We will explore how to be comfortable, how to use our breath, how to manage thoughts, emotions, and body sensations.
We will learn to be curious and to trust the intelligence of our bodies, opening our hearts and minds and learning to listen and to trust in our inner truth.
