Navigating Boundaries: Workshop for Mental Health Professsionals
March 23, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 6:00 pmCHF125,00
What role do boundaries and personal space play in your life and work? How do you notice and navigate your own and clients’ boundaries as a mental health professsional? A healthy boundary allows us to be connected to ourselves as well as to others. Being aware of our personal space and boundaries allows us to both connect and protect with ourselves and others. This is relevent for everyone – especially for us a helping professionals as we work with our clients.
As a trained Integrated Body Psychotherapist working for years with trauma – the importance of involving direct expereinces linked to boundaries that allow for connection and protection has been an integrale part of my work. I look forward to sharing it with others.
I will explain, demonstrate and provide experiential exercises to increase awareness and comfort with how to recognize a sense of personal space and explore boundaries. The exercises can help increase you ability to bring the often invisible and intangable dynamics around boundaries into visible and concrete ways into the therapeutic process – for both you and your clients. It can be a creative and active way to bring it alive for yourself and for your clients.
If you are curious and willing to be active in exploring your boundaries, vulnerabilities and strengths – this is the workshop for you.
