Navigating Midlife with Ease: Women’s Health Day

Are you entering into midlife? a women over the age of 45? Are you facing changes in your career? Your body? Your mood? Your relationships? Your identity and interests? And/or day to day life?
As we age, we enter into a new phase or season of our life – the Autumn of Life, some call it. Many women indicate there is a lack of visibility, information or options for women as we become older. Our body, lives and focus may be changing. What does it mean physically? What is perimenopause? How do I want to work or live my life after children are out of the house, or after retirement? How do we explore and integrate these many changes into our lives? We offer a space and time to explore these topics with different professionals. Patricia Vriesendorp, is a psychologist and co-founder of C2 and provides therapy both in individual and group settings. Patricia is passionate about using group settings to share information, to build a sense of connection and to increase support on topics that impact us in the everyday. Here is her website.
Jaya Lisa Saunders is a long-standing bodyworker of therapeutic massage, craniosacral and Bowen therapies. Angela Warm is a Certified Health Coach specializing in helping women navigate midlife on their terms with their health and sanity intact. This will be the first Workshop in a series of four on the topic of midlife. This day will provide an overview of the topics and introduction to each of the co-leaders. During the year there will be other options you can benefit from both virtually and in-person, free and fee based. You can then tailor it to your needs! The following workshop sessions will be half-day morning workshops focused on one subtopic, such as our changing bodies, diet and nutrition, and exploring new aspects and identities. In between the in-person workshops, we will offer additional resources and support in the form of presentations , social media group and a support and check-in group if you want. You can also choose to follow-up with one of the workshop leaders for additional support, topics or services individually. Gestalt it to your time, budget and location!
