We often compare our stories with others and judge ourselves. We focus on the negative aspects of our stories, and over glorify the stories of others. Social Media thrives on this! Yet these stories and comparisons are not real… we judge our “in process” selves with the “finished success story” of others. We do not see the years of mistakes and failures others experienced along the way. To keep up we set unrealistic expectations for ourselves which often paralyze and harm us. In this month’s Women’s Group we explore how you can change the perspective on your developing story, and break out of the Perfectionist Trap.
